My friend, Nichole, has three daughters and they like ribbon hair bows. But the bows can be rather expensive, especially in multiples of three! So she and her daughters (Taylor, Brieana, and Alivia) decided to make their own.
They gathered pretty ribbons and hot-glued them in loops, then glued all the loops together to form bows.
A little snip of ribbon on the back holds the bobby pin or hair clip in place:
Nichole reports it was a fun activity to do with her daughters. When the girls wore their bows to school and told their friends how they made them, pretty soon Nichole’s family was producing the bows in mass quantities! She says they also make great favors for birthday parties. Thanks for sharing the idea, Nichole!
